The institute has designed and implemented its academic Programmes in undergraduate and postgraduate level, for overall agricultural  development of the country.
Under Graduate Programs

Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (B.Sc. Ag.)- 4 Years Semester Program
The aim of this program is to train academically proficient and practical oriented professional agriculturists.  Most of the courses on first three years are from basic core agricultural disciplines. In the final year, Undergraduate Practicum Assessment (UPA) is offered to provide the students an opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and skills in the areas of their interest. Field practical’s, project works and study visits are also part of the academic curriculum.

Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandary (B.VSc. and A.H.) - 5 Years Semester Program
The aim of this program is to train skilled and competent manpower in the area of livestock health, production and management. The B. V. Sc. & A.H. program includes nine semesters of academic courses and a final one semester of internship. The curriculum has been designed to integrate basic, production and management, practical and clinical subjects to impart both extensive and intensive knowledge in veterinary clinical sciences, animal breeding, livestock production and management.

Bachelor of Sciences in Horticulture (B.Sc. Hrt.)- 4 Years Semester Program
The aim of this program is to train academically competent and practical oriented professional agriculturists, with special focus on horticultural field (Floriculture, Pomology, Olericulture, etc.)

Master of Science in Agriculture (M.Sc.Ag.)
M. Sc. Ag degree is offered in following agricultural disciplines currently:

Master of Science in Animal Science (M.Sc.An.Sc.)
M. Sc. An. Sc. degree is offered in following animal science disciplines currently:

Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.)
M. V. Sc. degree is offered in following disciplines currently:

Master of Science in Aquaculture (M.Sc. Aquaculture)

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.),
Plan-A and Plan-B
Ph.D degree is currently offered in all major subjects of Postgraduate program. Under Plan A, student has to attend theory and practical classes of relevant subjects offered by the department. However, under Plan B student has to conduct research and submit progress report each semester but, regular classes and practical works are not mandatory.
